When you're ready to pick out your kitchen and bath products, you can schedule an appointment with one of our showroom consultants. He or she will work with you to create your bath or kitchen vision. If you're looking for a specific brand and model, they'll help you find what you're looking for. They will utilize their in-depth knowledge of bath & kitchen products to connect you with the right plumbing fixtures, cabinets, accessories, etc.

The main difference between natural stone (granite, marble, travertine, etc.) and quartz is that granite is natural and quartz is man-made. When choosing between granite, quartz, and even porcelain for your countertop it is important to keep in mind that granite is porous. Porous means that the material will have small minute spaces or holes through which liquid or air may pass. This indicates that the material must be sealed at least once a year in order to protect it from damaging acidic liquids as they can stain the stone, especially if you are installing it in the kitchen. Quartz and porcelain, however, is man-made so it never has to be sealed.

Rectified means that the tile's edges have been ground or sawed after firing so that the overall size of the tile is more precise or exact. By sawing, machining or precisely grinding the tiles after firing, the manufacturer is trying to minimize the size variations from tile to tile. Because the grinding or sawing happens to the edges of the tile, rectification is only an edge treatment and does not affect the thickness or the quality of the tile. Rectification simply affects the kind of edges the tile has, which means that rectified tile is ideal for specific types of tile installation. The primary reason for a rectified tile is to have minimal grout lines. The very thin grout line makes for a more seamless look, especially if you choose a grout color that closely matches the color of your tile.
